Today is the first day of school for UCSB! For those of you who don't know Daniel is studying Music (emphasis in Voice-mostly Opera, classical and choral singing) and he only has one year left to finish his bachelors degree. He started school here right after high school and finished 3 years then decided to take a break from school to serve a mission. Everyone in school thought he was crazy for wanting to leave with only 1 year left, but if he had finished and not gone on a mission when he did we would never have met. So I'm pretty grateful he left when he did :)
When Daniel got home from serving in Indonesia he wanted to go right back into school and get his degree finished, but that wasn't what happened. He found out he needed a certain class in order to finish his degree, but that class was only offered every 2 years! He still had 1 more year to wait....so he waited, got married in the meantime and is now FINALLY able to take that class and finish his degree.
It's funny how things workout. Sometimes you plan on something and think you have a pretty good idea of how it will turn out then life takes you in a completely different direction. In the end it always turns out to be what you need. Maybe not necessarily what you expected or sometimes even what you want, but it always works out for the best.
So this post is dedicated to my awesome husband whom I'm so proud of and love more than anything!

yayeeee for the cute little school boy! Good luck with your classes Dan, I hope the distraction of a new baby wont cause you to get behind or anything. CONGRATULATIONS
Once that baby pops out he won't want to go to school anymore. LOL
yay, for school! hurry and finish and come back to utah! We miss you so so much! By the way, when are you coming back? Let us know, we really want to see you soon.
