I LOVE Santa Barbara for so many reasons. I know I've said this many times but I would live here forever if I could. Too bad that will never happen so I'm trying to enjoy every single second I have to live here. Daniel is working for the Music Academy of the West for the summer and last week he was working in the box office at the Granada Theater downtown. Since he only has to keep the box office open an hour before the show then half an hour after the show begins I decided I needed to stretch my legs and get out of the house so John and I went with him. The parking lot at the Granada was reserved for the performance so I had to find a different parking structure to park in. I ended up seeing one just one block down from the Granada which said 1st 75 min free. When we walked out of the parking structure I realized we were behind a Museum which was unfortunately closed so we decided to go cruise the side walks of State street while we waited for daddy. We came across this insanely cute area behind the museum that had a pond with a fountain. Inside there were orange fish and the cutest turtles ever! John was SO excited I let him out of the stroller and we went exploring. There were these random statues all over the place and we had a blast running up and down looking at everything. By the time Daniel was finished John had exhausted himself playing on everything and slept like an angel that night!!

I'm so lucky to call this place my home....for now!
