Yesterday our neighbor hosted a dessert contest that Daniel and I both made a dessert for. I made a "Perfect Patriotic Pie" which consisted of a homemade no-bake cheesecake with an American flag on the front (blueberries and strawberries) and Daniel made an "Easy I.S.I Cake" which was none other than Ice cream Snickers and Ice cream. It was like a big ice cream snickers sandwich! Everyone liked the originality and simplicity of his dessert.
There were SO many good desserts to try I left on a total sugar high!

We stole our good friend Melissa away from writing her papers to come with us. I think she was ok with being dragged to a dessert party!!Thank you Lee for setting that up. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad we did it!
