Happy Valentine's Day!

I LOVE VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

This is definitely my favorite holiday. Can't you just feel the love on an awesome day like this?! I must say I'm in a WAY better mood this year than last year. Lets just say that last years Valentine's was one of the worse days ever for me. To make a long story short I was right at the beginning of my 4 month morning sickness phase (which lasted all day instead of just the morning) I was stuck in a car for 12 hours, and I was fighting with my husband. Not very fun! But this year turned out a million times better.

Daniel and I started our celebrations last night with dinner at Chili's, then we dropped the baby off at a babysitter and went to a Valentine concert the faculty of the music department at UCSB were performing in. It was really good. Then we went and got ice cream (starlight mint-gotta be the best ice cream in the world). Oh yeah and Daniel also got his BFOM group together (as a surprise) and sang a song to me ("In the still of the night"). It was quite a romantic night.

Then today we hung out after Daniel got off of work and made MnM oatmeal cookies and played with the baby. It was A LOT of fun. I would definitely give this Valentine's Day an A+!!

Let's see what the baby thought of his very first Valentine's Day...

(Don't worry we don't just hit our child with random objects on the head all the time! It was an empty packet of baby wipes!!)
