The Twilight Series

Today I FINALLY finished reading the last book in the Twilight series...HURRAY!!

During Christmas my sister Brittanny read all the Twilight books in less than 2 weeks. I've had a lot of people ask me if I've read them yet and I've always told them no. So I decided to ask Brittanny if it was worth the read and she said yes.

I started reading them over Christmas and I just finished with the 4th book earlier on this evening....I'm a REALLY slow and thorough reader! I must say I really enjoyed reading those books. I have my good points and my bad points concerning the series but all in all I enjoyed them. I was talking with a friend about them after I finished and she made the greatest comparison to the books and I fully agree with what she said....

These books are junk food books! They are not really "good" for you in a sense of being a healthy read but they are just fun and majorly addicting. It's like a bag of your favorite potato chips, once you start you just keep eating the potato chips until they are gone!! They get addicting. It was the same for me with these books. I could not stop reading them. My poor husband and baby had to deal with a messy house and microwave meals because I couldn't get my head out of those books.

It was fun while it lasted but now life can get back to same old same old! I'll have to find something else soon to read once I get my house in tip top shape....any suggestions?!

ha ha ... Seth became a "Twiglight Husband" ... as in "my wife's face is in a book that constantly makes jump and gasp!" LOL good reads for sure!
I don't have any suggestions for other reading material. Tashina like Stephanie Meyers other book "The Host" another sci-fi thriller.

you should read the alchemyst, and the magician. i can't remember the author's name. but they're way good. it takes historical events, mythology and today's world and mixes it all up in a fun story. there will be more books in the series, but right now there's just the 2.
